Emirates Foundation was established on 12 April 2005 following the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may God protect him. Chaired by Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Court for Developmental Affairs and Martyrs’ Families.
The Foundation serves as a national ecosystem catalyst. It activates partnerships across the public and private sectors to empower communities and transform ideas into agile, scalable initiatives. Through research- and data-driven programs aligned with national priorities, Emirates Foundation delivers sustainable social impact and strengthens the role of the third sector in national development.
