Takatof
Takatof is one of the UAE’s leading volunteer programs, inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. Launched in 2007, the program aims to empower individuals to actively contribute to community service and strengthen the culture of volunteering across the country. Takatof offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities in diverse sectors, allowing volunteers to contribute their time, skills, and expertise. Through meaningful initiatives and projects, the program helps create positive, measurable, and sustainable social impact within communities throughout the United Arab Emirates.
Ne’Ma promotes the UAE President’s vision of responsible and sustainable consumption nationwide.
Ne’ma, the National Food Loss and Waste Initiative, is a reflection of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, vision and call for action to address over-consumption and building a UAE-wide social norm around responsible and sustainable consumption, bringing back UAE’s rooted traditional values of social responsibility and good stewardship of national resources.
It is a collaboration between the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and Emirates Foundation to promote joint action by government, private sector, NGOs, and communities to address food loss and waste across the value chain — from production to consumption — and to build new national social norms around responsible consumption.
